To Start The Day

1. Heat a bowl of almond milk (original) on the stove.

2. As it begins to boil, add oatmeal, ~ 1/3 of the amount of almond milk.

3. Stir. As it continues simmering, add several sizable lumps of brown sugar and a teaspoon of vanilla extract. Continue stirring for 4-5 minutes.

4. After the oatmeal begins to thicken and the oats look cooked, turn off the stove and cover/let sit for 2 minutes.

5. Take a nice big celebratory bowl out. Add a third of the oatmeal.

6. Take a banana, and lay some slices on this layer. Once satisfactory with the right amount of banana, add the rest of the oatmeal (or continue layering).

7. Once all the oatmeal is layered, add some more banana slices on top, and some Trader Joe’s trail mix with some kind of delicious dried fruit.

8. Break up chunks of Lindt and Sprungli chili chocolate and push them into the oatmeal so they’ll get warm or melt.

9. Sprinkle the top with some molasses.

10. Devour.
