MY GIGGLYOSH

Monday, April 5th, 2010

Second week of (the last quarter of) (undergraduate, at least) school reaps wild mountain ranges of emotions to rival that of puberty–

unfortunately, I can say the same about the hour and a half I spend on tax forms. BUT I’M DUNZO!

I had a lurverly time catching up with people nesting in the COM BLDG.! One had been in Rome with me– but reunion was sweet as hon-ay.

And for Blau’s class, we resurrected death, dead authors, and the morbid ilk– in some ways, it *does* cover existentialism.

Ah, cheers to death! For without it–  *insert theatrical LOL* we’d be too scared to live! Or, we’d have nothing as serious to contemplate as life and death; we’d be stuck thinking of petty nonsense, like how the Uggs you have now don’t look as ugly as the ones this season, or the fact that your retainer smells like cheese, or maybe why your pinky toe doesn’t look like the other toes, or also the fact that every plane ride the airline seems to place you with others who didn’t win anything in the gene lottery. There are other nonsensical things that may plague your mind: how your silly crush who is totally in love with you anyway doesn’t acknowledge you for fear of giving themselves away, or how fast you can walk everywhere to be timely and efficient, and whether the way you walk makes you look like a neurotic prick or a jerky chicken.

So, um, here’s to any bigger picture! Death and/or the after life included!

A Blog is a Blog is a Blog

Tuesday, May 12th, 2009

Literally. I have accumulated 56+ blogs (that I theoretically read on a daily basis) in the past month. The internet is a never-ending addiction. Once you stick the wi-fi in your mental vein, you’re HOOKED–one site leads to another, and the next thing you know sites like polyvore and weheartit send you on scavenger hunts for invisible passions you never knew existed.

This blog post is a hurrah for my addiction. I claim no responsibility for my crowds of readers (feed them, feed them!) who fall into the same situation I find myself in.
