John Galt Better Be Hot
Friday, February 11th, 2011Atlas Shrugged, coming to the silver screen. I am weary that such philosophical depth can translate into impressive/necessary visuals, but appreciate the fact they they are splitting the plot into three parts– whether or not it’s for more profit. Whoever tackled this project has guts.
If you look at the comments on Youtube, you can already sense the political tension between different parties. The video itself has 121 dislikes to ~300 likes; it will be interesting to see how that plays out amongst potential audience viewers. Will people watch it because they haven’t read the ‘infamous’ book?
For those who want to be slightly prepared but haven’t read the book, Wikipedia it or look up “Objectivism” or “the virtue of selfishness”.
