Live on in our playlists forever

Live on in our playlists forever

Oh, Em, Jay.

It’s strange to see the entire world embrace him once more– finally.

But it’s not just that the King of Pop has died;  this musical deathday has left many of us with a keen feeling of mortality. To think that such a legendary man– a person who’s story is ingrained in anyone familiar with mainstream culture– has left us forever! Makes us feel a little less sure of what’s going on in our own future.

Then again, his death has immortalized more than ever– how many requests for MJ from radio stations and DJs across the world in celebration of his beautiful contributions to the industry of sound. This is as immortal as anyone can get.

Just wait until the t-shirts and che-guevara-esque avatars start flooding the ‘net.

In the meantime, share your own Michael Jackson stories and fan-grief here.
