It’s totally cool to shop for apartments, just not within a week.

There are some ridiculous ads out there.

Warning alerts for: Cozy. Fun. Studious. Quiet. 420 friendly.

Some don’t even have addresses, because they trick you into viewing the place first. Priorities must be maintained.

Living with strangers will be interesting– I’ve been lucky enough to live with close friends for the past few years, and we’ve had great times (to say ze leazt); although, for the most part, people are terrified of living with their friends. Something about dirty dishes destroying relationships.

Which is why a dishwasher is so important.

The Cloud of Seagulls

Has gone. I was sitting out in the balcony, when a storm of flying rats began ha-rass-ing each other in the airspace above my head. Unforgivable.

So I’m in Roma, still. The land of muscular jaws, Armani-Exchange stubble, and proud tans. Of surprisingly short men, who are all talk…but really, this city isn’t all about the male specimen. I’m not obsessing. Or complaining…I might be complaining, I miss Seattle boys. They might not smell as nice, but I’ve never complained about that

TWO WEEKS ’til I come back! I know I shouldn’t already be reminiscing about Seattle, or Roma, and I should just rejoice in the moment (arms of joy! flail those arms of joy!) but what’s life without the spice of angst? It’s nothing; no, it’s an episode of Friends. It’s fettuccine from Maggiano’s– bland butter in a swamp of noodles.Yeeeck.

So here’s to the cusp of spring; of the beautiful happy, the gorgeous sad, the silent contentedness of cool evenings. I can’t wait to see you, Sir Tomorrow. Because you’ll probably have a nice coni of gelato waiting for me…

If I don’t puke from my own cheesiness.

… Let me take you to Heaven’s doors/ Where the music/ Of Love’s guitars/ Plays forever more” – song from Evita.

The haste of fall quarter has me in a dizzy tizzy. Who knew the holidays could run and punch so hard?

Couples will absorb themselves in cozy cush of marshmallows and hot chocolate. WELL PFFT! I say; let them sink into each others’ oblivious-osity. I will be venturing the streets to collect the humiliation of The Singles, and seep myself in their doleful hope. NO– I will be to busy to mope; I’ll throw myself into work as per usual, and wait for seconds during the feasts (pumpkin pie? Bread pudding? Leftovers?) only to gorge myself gleeful. And may no one ever care how plump I get.

Ok, I confess my bitterness: I never get presents during Christmas. Not never, perhaps, but nothing… special. And believe me, I’m not *that* hard to please… at least, I don’t think I am. I’ll try to focus on the good things. After all, I do have it pretty lucky.

Let Me Make it Up to You

I’m SORRY that I haven’t updated in awhile. Shame on me, shame on me– it’s just been so crazy crazy lately, what with autumn quarter starting and my impromptu vacation to LA during the first week of school… shame shame shame.

Azn Zombie

Azn Zombie

I was originally planning to be: Geisha Zombie, but I wasn’t geisha enough, so I stuck with the dramatic asian zombie type.

The official MYSPACE Zombie Walk page is here.

It was great fun; people got super into it, which was awesome. There was a brain on a stick flying around the air at some point…

I’ve decided to self-promote my blog, and learn some new stuff independently rather than pursue another internship– planning for Rome, classes, and work has got my schedule jammed. :) So you will be hearing from me… hopefully every day. <3

And last note: my new inspiration for future art projects!!!!!
