Discovered some awesome stills from the upcoming new music video for Gaga/Beyonce clash epic “Telephone”

In the fascinating plot of my Real Life, I have this terrible class that could potentially be super cool/hip/relevant (and whatever sarcastic adjectives hipsterrunoff can think of) but … isn’t. The teacher works as a Father in the Vatican for his “day job”, but I don’t think that sort of job has shifts, hm? Besides, isn’t the point to give your life up to Him? How is it possible to partition/pick and choose? Anyway, students in the class feel as if his biases and opinions are becoming obstacles to teaching objectives; whether or not that be the case, the point is that they feel that way, so there must be something a-wry…

To end on a better note, start hopping on that waiting list for your Robert Pattinson pillow-man.

Dali is In

Thursday, May 7th, 2009

A new biopic of Salvador Dali is coming out soon.

Surprisingly, (at least to me) they cast Twilight’s vampire Robert Pattinson for Dali’s role. Titled “Little Ashes”, it tells the story of an 18 year old Dali and his relationships with fellow modernists Frederico Garcia Lorca (played by Javier Beltran) and Luis Bunuel (played by Matthew McNulty).

There’s always that misgiving about incredibly photogenic people in teen movies and their acting abilities (see: Zac Efron. Gossip Girl cast. etc.) Well, at least I always doubt. In such a character typecast of a vampire/ aloof man/boy/hero seething with distant steel of masculinity, it’s hard to see how capable Pattinson might be.

Smug smirk of those who are aware of their fanclub.

I have hope though. No one can really tarnish the brilliance of Salvador Dali.
