Blurbs to the Bored
1. Smells freak me out. What the truck. I’ve found that certain cities smell different, and I hate the way certain backpacks either remind me of elementary school, highschool, and the black hole of my life people call Middle School. Remember when kids used to cover their hands in glue just because? It happened.
1. A: Acqua Di Gio: Men, there are way more scents out there that can boost your masculine appeal. Take advantage of it. The LaCoste Red works wonders… (on me). Acqua Di Gio just makes you smell like the frat boy who just turned 21 and goes beer happy at Dante’s, looking to score. Or A Pizza Mart. Let’s just say, on The Ave. Alternatively, it’s often found on desperate men in their middle 30′s.
2. Middle school sucks. I cannot emphasize this enough: the rush of hormones, terror of social activity, and health class together… just such a traumatic combination. Oh, and algebra.
3. American Apparel looks ridiculous when more than two people are decked out in cheaply made sweatshirts created by the chauvinistic brand. Wow, you spent ~40-50 $$$ on that great color-block t-shirt? Congrats. I don’t give. How ironically but truly American of you. Carry on.
3.A. AA + the Uggs? ADORABLE %%%
4. Can people be more meta-ironic with their Facebook status-es?
5. FAX MACHINES SUCK why aren’t there more scanners in the world–
6. So does spider season. Fighting spiders in a jar had me clutching my roommate in tears… once. It was very exciting.
7. One of my professors told me that my hair looked great, even when greasy. And then she chuckled “and I’ve seen it pretty greasy”. fml.
8. I’ve been experiencing re-occuring themes of violent victimization: first, it was running away from the Nazis. Last night, I was almost mugged by the yakuza. Should I or should I not buy some Mace? Why am I so afraid of violent gangs coming to beat me up and take my phone away?
9. Don’t you wish prom was THIS awesome?
10. … this isn’t as relevant as THIS, but thanks for staying tuned.
IT’s a rather lovely Thursday, methinks.

Was I the kid with the glue-covered hands? I recall doing SOME kind of experiments with glue at Briar Glen.
